BREATHING EMERGENCIES   • The person stops breathing for longer than 15 to 20 seconds.  • Has severe trouble breathing, a person with this problem may:  • Have chest tightness so severe that the person is worried she/he can’t keep breathing.  • Be so short of breath that she/he can’t speak. • Gasp for breath or have severe wheezing.  • Feel very anxious, afraid, or restless. Tendons connect muscle and bone.  A broken bone is called a fracture.  A sprain is an injury to the ligaments or soft tissues around a joint. Ligaments connect one bone to another.
